• This control valve helps ensure the engine properly regulates the amount of oil flow to the oil cooler and the heads.
• Swap out the OE unit that has a tendency to crack and release metal debris into your oil circulation system that can potentially cause catastrophic damage to your engine. Once you remove the OE unit, you will see how this check valve will not fail like the OE unit as the metal sidewall thickness that holds the steel check-valve ball in place is much thicker and will not crack after repeated use.
