FMF Racing® PowerBomb Header/Head Pipe in Stainless Steel
Fits 1993-2009, 2012-2020 Honda XR650L & 1988-2000 Honda XR600R dirtbike models
The redesigned PowerBomb is a four-stroke dirtbike header that incorporates FMF’s PowerBomb module at an exact location in the initial stage of the header. By positioning this “Bomb” at a key point in the exhaust system, increased performance and flow is achieved. How, you ask? This is done through the expansion and contraction of exhaust sonics through the system. Result is a flow increase and gains of nearly 10%! The outer chamber in the Powerbomb head pipe allows the air to expand, cool, and ramp back up at a higher velocity.
Additionally, the PowerBomb is a “pre-muffler” which helps to lower the bike's sound output by providing more sound absorbing surface area for the sound medium (exhaust gases).
