Furick Cup® High Performance Welding Parts & Accessories

I’m the kind of person that likes to use and test our products as much as I can before I sell them. Without a doubt, everything I’ve used from Furick Cup® welding products I wish I had years ago.
Located in the heart of the racing world, Mooresville, NC, Dog (as he prefers to be called) has a rich history in welding and performance fabrication. He grew up with a strong work ethic coupled with a love for riding motorcycles and quickly found himself inside the racing community. His work travels got him through NASCAR® and all the way to Europe where he worked with a few major F1® Formula One racing teams. So yea, he’s got the credentials.
He took all of this experience and created a brand devoted entirely to high performance welding accessories. I’ve been using Dog’s cups and other welding accessories of his for a couple of years now. If you’ve been using the typical gas lenses and cups on the market for TIG welding you’re going to notice an immediate difference when you switch to the Furick Cup® line.
Not only will the actual weld bead look different but it’s a completely different welding experience. The gas coverage is fantastic, especially if you weld a lot of stainless and exotic alloys like Inconel and titanium. Don’t get me wrong, this cup isn’t going to make you a better welder, but I swear it will make you a better welder faster.
I say this for a couple reasons; the biggest reason being visibility and the ability to see the back side of the weld bead. If you’re an ally welder, Dog changed the game with his Pyrex cup technology. The design of his lenses and cups allows the user to stick the electrode (tungsten) much farther out than typical TIG-welding cups. I’m talking about some huge stick out, in the neighborhood of 1.5” from the cup face. The first time you use it, you’ll be amazed at how much you can see. It’s almost like not having a cup at all. Another benefit of being able to stick the electrode way out is the ability to weld tight inside corners. Frame and roll cage builders will love Furick Cups.
I use these products every day. And I promise you that we are handing a large volume of welding projects to truly put these parts to the test. Do yourself a favor and give one of his cups a try. If you are unsure what to start with, get yourself the JAZZY 10 ceramic kit and a 5/32” gas lens. I promise you’ll never to back to a pink cup.
